This project is for the rehabilitation of Boundary Bridge 11 (BB11) on Nile Road, 0.5km West of Heron Line. The structure is a single span rigid frame bridge over Sharpes Creek, built in 1970.

Construction for the bridge rehabilitation was awarded to VanDriel Excavating Inc. Construction will commence on September 3, 2024 with an anticipated completion date of October 11, 2024. The scope of this rehabilitation includes localized concrete patch repairs to the superstructure, replacement of the curb and barrier walls, and erosion protection to the abutments.

Construction will be staged to allow for one lane of traffic to remain active at all times. Alternating traffic will be directed through the use of traffic lights. There will be a width restriction of 3.6 meters on the bridge. Please proceed with caution and obey all signage.
