Replacement of Culvert 02-06.2 on County Road 2 (Bronson Line)

This project is for the replacement of culvert 02-06.2 located on County Road 2 (Bronson Line), 0.1km South of Kirkton Road (Side Rd 15). The existing structure is a 2.4m span CSP culvert which conveys the Veri Drainage Works, built around 1970.

Due to the condition of the culvert, replacement is recommended. Following hydrology and hydraulic investigations a 2.7m diameter, 23.5m long CSP culvert with Aluminized Type 2 coating was selected.

Construction for the culvert replacement was awarded to Lavis Contracting Co. Limited. Construction is anticipated to commence on September 1, 2026, with an estimated duration of 4 weeks.

During construction, County Road 2 (Bronson Line) will be fully closed at the culvert location to facilitate the culvert replacement. Local traffic will be permitted on County Road 2 between County Road 83 (Dashwood Road) and County Road 10 (Crediton Road), but only up to the point of closure on County Road 2. A signed detour route will be in place via County Road 83 (Dashwood Road), Goshen Line, and County Road 10 (Crediton Road).
