The County of Huron Bridge Crew will be performing a rehabilitation of Lower Maitland Bridge (07-00.9) located on County Road 7 (Howick Turnberry Road), 1.0km East of the intersection with County Road 4 (London Road).
Construction will commence on May 13, 2024 with an anticipated completion day of August 30, 2024. The project scope includes concrete deck repairs, waterproofing and repaving the bridge deck, new deck drains, localized patch repairs to the soffit and piers, along with replacement of the curb and parapet walls.
Construction will be staged to allow for one lane of traffic to remain active at all times. Alternating traffic will be directed through the use of traffic lights. There will be a width restriction of 3.6 meters on the bridge. Please proceed with caution and obey all signage.
