Municipality of Bluewater: Bayfield Main Street Revitalization

Welcome to the Municipality of Bluewater’s Bayfield Main Street Revitalization Community Consultation Hub!
The Municipality of Bluewater would like to work together with the community of the Village of Bayfield to embrace new standards in a heritage landscape in beautifying Bayfield Main Street.
The Main Street will undergo reconstruction in the commercially zoned areas of Main St. North from the Square to Catherine St., including extension of sidewalks adjacent to the commercially zoned areas of Charles St.
Anticipated project duration is April 2022 through to May 2023, with a break in construction activities in July and August. Reconstruction scope of work includes burying of hydro, exposed aggregate sidewalks, road reconstruction including parking spaces and curbs, landscaping, tree planting, street lighting, and replacement and installation of drainage infrastructure including rain gardens.
