Values are "principals or standards of behaviour." (Oxford English Dictionary) The values we state in our strategic plan will describe the way in which we achieve the library's mission and work towards our vision.

I challenge you to limit the number of overall values you select from the lists below. We simply do not have the capacity to value everything. If we select everything as a value, we have nothing to filter the tough decisions through. It’s just like priorities, if you have too many, you have none.

Options in the survey are drawn from our existing values as well as values from other libraries who have recently completed new strategic plans. You are also welcome to add a value you feel is important using the 'other' option.
